From humble beginnings in 1963 Thetford has grown to be a global market leader in mobile sanitation systems, toilet care, refrigeration, kitchen and cooking appliances for the recreational vehicle market.

Thetford was founded in 1963 (Michigan – USA) and has been part of Monomoy Capital Partners since December 2021.

Thetford Australia

Thetford Australia has been in operation since 2006 and is part of the world renowned innovative market leader . Thetford Australia is the subsidiary for the global corporation servicing the Australian and New Zealand market.

Our warehouse and Head Office located In Somerton, Victoria is fortunate enough to be at the epicentre of the caravan industry. We pride ourselves on our quality products and the highest levels of customer service and we continue to grow in an exciting market.

We have an impressive showroom which was built for the purpose of an onsite training centre to further support our customers equipping our network and staff with the expertise and knowledge of the Thetford product range. In addition it offers us an opportunity to showcase our most outstanding product innovations for the RV industry. Furthermore, the large distribution centre enables for more efficiencies in ensuring we keep up with consumer demand and delivery of product to our customers.

Thetford Australia has expanded its presence in the Australian Market to become a major player with over 600 dealers, retailers and service agents around Australia and New Zealand. We take pride in the expertise of our people and have a dedicated friendly customer service team based in Australia to provide the world class service that sets Thetford apart from our competitors.

Thetford Safety and Environment

Our toilet fluids and maintenance products are developed and then tested in our own laboratories before going to market. Our quality management system is certified in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015. Rest assured that we apply these certificates and quality standards to all of our products.
